Why Accepting and Agreeing Aren’t the Same Thing

Whenever I feel down or upset about something, the only thing that helps me move forward is unconditional acceptance. This means accepting everything I like, don’t like, or am neutral about.

The concept of accepting what I don’t like felt odd for a long time because it made no sense to accept something I didn’t agree with.
